Kathleen “Kathy” Krin Bartels, 57, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, at UW–Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah, Wisconsin, at a later date.
