Sherman and Gayle (Fingerson) Johnson were married on Sept. 14, 1946, in Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. They have six children: Connie, Albuquerque, N.M; Mary, Wild Rose; Ralph, South Wayne; Bob, Barneveld; Richard, Wiota; and Mark, Darlington. They have 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. They are planning a family gathering at their home in Wiota.
