Jayne K. (Oates) McPhail, 53, of Platteville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Pastor Mary Ann Floerke will officiate. Burial will be at the Whig Cemetery, rural Platteville. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Jayne was a person to help others if possible, so in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jayne K. McPhail Memorial Fund, PO Box 245, Platteville WI 53818.
