Donald “Digger” and Lana Olson to celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Lana Davenport, daughter of Jasper and Louise Davenport and Donald “Digger” Olson, son of Thomas and Pauline Olson, Soldiers Grove were married on October 30, 1965 at the Community of Christ Church, rural Soldiers Grove by Elder Lawrence Shedd at an 8 p.m. candle light ceremony. Their children are Roger (Karen) Olson, Soldiers Grove with grandchildren Jenna, Richland Center and Jadon, Westby and Dean (Peggy) Olson and grandchildren, Trevor and Nicholas of Watertown. They will be celebrating with a dinner and dancing on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at the old Community Building in Gays Mills. Dinner will be served from 12:00 to 1 p.m. and Gary and the Ridgeland Dutchmen, one of our favorite bands, will provide music for a fun time of dancing from 1 to 5 p.m. Please know that your presence is gift enough and we would consider it an honor to have your share in our day.
