Stuart and Betty Thompson of Darlington will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Feb. 20. Stuart Thompson and the former Betty Tregoning were married on Feb. 20, 1954 at the Darlington United Methodist Church by Reverend Jeffery.
    The couple has four children: Cynthia Sato of Copperas Cove, Texas; John Thompson of Ashton, Ill.; Darci Kluesner of Blue Mound and Wayne Thompson of Darlington. The couple also has 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    They will celebrate with a family dinner at Rafters in Lena, Ill.
