Carl and Rebecca Oppert, Platteville, announce the birth of their son, Finnley Ray Oppert, at 11:07 p.m. on Friday, April 18 at Southwest Health Center.
Finnley weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Lori and Robert Ederer, Plain, Wis., Deb and Craig Raha, Plover,  Wis., and John and Lori Oppert, Viroqua.
Great-grandparents are Caroline Ederer, Plain, Marian and Dwaine Ohmen, Las Cruces, N.M., Rose and Jerry Raha, Gays Mills, and Betty Skildum, Viroqua.
Finnley’s father is a wildlife technician and his mother is a middle school teacher in Platteville.
