Donell Jr. and Megan Smith of Platteville announce the birth of their daughter, Jayla Marie Smith, on Monday, July 2 at 11:09 p.m. at Southwest Health Center.
Jayla weighed six pounds, 12 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. She joins a brother, Deion Smith, 2.
Grandparents are Ken and Lynnette Bloom of Platteville, Donell Smith Sr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Nita Bradby of Milwaukee.
Great-grandparents are Vince and Marilyn Abing, and Mary Ann Bloom,  all  of  Platteville.
Jayla’s father is an account executive at Spireon and her mother is a student.
