Bruce King and Lindsay Bloom, Platteville, announce the birth of their son, Jonah Ernest King, at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday,  Aug. 23 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Jonah weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Lynnette and Ken Bloom, Platteville, and Tracy and Barry King, Darlington.
Great-grandparents are Marilyn and Vince Abing, Platteville, Ruthann and Barry King, Darlington, and Joe and Kay Shepherd, Shullsburg.
Jonah’s parents are students and his father works at Pro-Build.
