Shawn and Amber Russell announce the birth of their daughter, Kara Eileen Russell, at 8:28 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23 at Southwest Health Center.
Kara weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 21 inches long. She joins two sisters, Kaylee, 5, and Katarina, 7.
Grandparents are Linda Rood, Platteville, Dwayne Rood, Shullsburg, and Sherri and Don Morrison, Muscoda.
Great-grandparents are Bob and Lil Rood, Monroe, Norma Paulson, Blanchardville, Joyce Thomas, Darlington, and Sunny Thomas, Janesville.
Kara’s father is a farm hand and her mother is a full-time student.
