The Rundell–Biddick Association will hold its 104th annual picnic at Memorial Park in Livingston Sunday, July 15 at noon.

A short church service will be held at Rock Church, Livingston, Sunday at 10:30 a.m. A special program will be presented. Sondra Schwulst will be the guest organist and will also perform a violin selection. Nereida Burkard will perform a musical selection a capella. Brad Biddick of Livingston will present a family story.

The Rundell–Biddick Association was established in 1909. From a newspaper of the time, June 19, 1909, “At a meeting in Jacob Bros. store was organized an association to be known as the Rundell–Biddick Association for the purpose of forming closer family associations and acquaintances. All connect by marriage to either family to be a member.”

A family history group is working to collect and compile family history and genealogies. The Ruth Sue Allen and Marcia Grindell collection is maintained at the Southwest Wisconsin Room at UW–Platteville. Work is ongoing to organize and index this collection. This group is also developing an oral history project relating to families and family stories with emphasis on the annual picnic.
