UWP student, Belmont girl competing in National American Miss pageant

UW–Platteville student Kami Rose Kastner and Lexi Eisele of Belmont are competing in the National American Miss Wisconsin pageant at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells this weekend.

The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 to 18 in five age divisions. Kastner will be participating in the teen division, and Eisele will be in the junior pre-teen division.

The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant in California.

Kastner’s parents are David Kastner and Gina Ubersox. She enjoys singing, dancing, tutoring, cheerleading, hunting, volunteering and spending time with family. Her career goal is to become an elementary-school guidance counselor.

Eisele’s parents are Galin and Amber Eisele. She enjoys horseback riding, swimming, 4-H, riding her bike, four-wheeling, hiking and camping.
