Bethany Miesen bride of Trevor Ermers on July 14

Bethany Miesen and Trevor Ermers of Appleton were united in marriage on July 14 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville. Rev. Francis J. Steffen, great-uncle of the bride, officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Maynard and Rita Miesen of Platteville. Parents of the groom are Scott and Laurie Ermers of Appleton.
The bride wore a one shoulder, white crystal taffeta ball gown featuring an asymmetrical shirred bodice. The sweetheart neckline was embellished with beaded flowers, metallic embroidery and pearl accents. The full skirt, with dramatic ruched pick-ups, was complimented with additional beading and flower detail that flowed into a semi-cathedral length train. A two-tier, beaded edged veil adorned her hair.
Matron of honor was Jill Weber, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Bartley, sister of the bride, Kelyn Ermers, sister of the groom, and Stephanie Harris and Leah Gullickson, friends of the couple. Flower girl was Katelyn Bartley, niece of the bride.
Best man was Jason Kopp, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Brandon Ermers, cousin of the groom, and Camren Zemlock, Todd Bronold and John Ver Kuilen, all friends of the couple. Ushers were Joe Bartley and Tom Weber, brothers-in-law of the bride.
The reception was held at the Ullsvik Hall in Velzy Commons. The couple honeymooned in Riviera Cancun, Mexico.
Trevor is a credit analyst for US Bank in Appleton and Bethany is a marketing coordinator for Coldwell Banker The Real Estate Group, Inc. in Appleton.
