Brittany Simmons and Tommy Wackershauser, Platteville, were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 at the United Methodist Church in Platteville. Pastor Brenda Whitford officiated the ceremony. A reception was held at 5 p.m. at Banfield’s Swiss Haus in Cuba City.
Parents of the bride are Rhonda and the late Stan Simmons, Platteville. Parents of the groom are Tom and Vienna Wackershauser, Platteville.
The bride wore an Alfred Angelo white dress with embroidered black trim and beading on the bodice and on the back of the dress from the corset to the train.
Maid of honor was Cassie Wunderlin, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Niki Simmons, sister of the bride, Amanda Place, friend of the bride and cousin of the groom, Val Ames, Tracy Banfield, Sue Steinhoff and Darcy Bevan, all friends of the couple, and Sarah Bennett, sister of the groom.
Chelsey Sherwin was the bride’s personal attendant. The flower girls were Macayla and Kalli Abing, nieces of the bride.
Best man was Curt Novinski, friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Kevin Burbach, Adam Abing, Shane Ames, Brian Mueller, Adam Steinbach, Cory Browning and Bryan Gebhard, all friends of the couple.
Ushers were Trevor VanNatta, Eric Hartke and Kyle Richter, friends of the couple, and Ryan Koeller, cousin of the groom.
