"What Freedom Means to Me"
Essay contest

Park Place Senior Living in Platteville sponsored a Veterans Day Essay Contest, “What Freedom Means To Me.” Laura Digman’s sixth grade class at Platteville Middle School submitted 30 essays, which were all read at Park Place’s Veterans Day program. Renee Momot (left) won first place and Amalia Perry (right) received second place.  Pictured with them is resident Arnold Ross, who helped judge the essays. Each child received a monetary prize and dinner at Park Place with their parents.
