Benefit for Doug Martin in Soldiers Grove

DOUG MARTIN, longtime employee of Town & Country Sanitation, is shown here with the truck he has spent many years driving. Martin has been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Syndrome), and is focused now on enjoying all the activities he loves and spending time with family and friends.

SOLDIERS GROVE - A benefit for Doug Martin, longtime Town & Country Sanitation employee and Gays Mills native, will take place on Saturday, March 3 at the Soldiers Grove American Legion.

Doug has been diagnosed with ALS, and proceeds will go for medical expenses.

A chili supper will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and Burning Bridges will play from 7 to 11 p.m.

The event will also feature a bake sale, a ‘Various Goody’ baskets raffle, and a cash prize raffle.
