Old National Bank of Evansville, Ind., announced Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin Inc.

The transaction includes 46 AnchorBank branch locations and adds $1.7 billion in total loans and $1.8 billion in total deposits to Old National’s assets, based on March 31 balances.

AnchorBank has Southwest Wisconsin locations in Platteville, Lancaster, Boscobel and Dodgeville.

As a result of the closing, AnchorBank is now officially a division of Old National, with full conversion and integration of all AnchorBank branches to Old National Bank planned for the third quarter this year.

“Anchor clients shouldn’t notice any changes at this time, aside from a modified logo that defines AnchorBank as a division of Old National Bank,” said AnchorBank president and CEO Chris Bauer. “Other than that, it is business as usual at all of our branches — same checks, same debit cards, same account numbers and same friendly, knowledgeable faces.”

Old National Bancorp, the holding company of Old National Bank, is the largest financial services holding company headquartered in Indiana. With $11.9 billion in assets as of March 31, it ranks among the top 100 banking countries in the U.S.
