From concept to start-up and on to sustainable operation, business managers need to focus on optimizing their key processes. Ventures largely thrive, or fail, depending on the amount of value created from major resource inputs.

Kelton Greenway will lead a discussion regarding initial planning, measuring execution performance and operational improvement planning during the next Inventors and Entrepreneurs (I&E) Club meeting Aug. 14.

Participants are encouraged to discuss ideas and examples from their own experience.

Greenway is a third generation licensed Wisconsin cheese maker. He has 28 years of experience in cheese and whey production management. His company, Greenway Consulting, provides business improvement services to the dairy, food and beverage industries from Madison, Wisconsin.

The I&E club has moved to a new location at the Food Enterprise Center, 1201 North Main Street in Viroqua.  Networking starts at 5:30 p.m., the program begins at 6 p.m.

The meetings are free and no reservations are required.  Everyone is welcome.
