A 29-year-old Lancaster woman was arrested for drunk driving after a crash on U.S. 61 north of Dickeyville early Saturday morning.

Grant County sheriff’s deputies discovered a car driven by Brandi Dunlap in the ditch on 61, 0.2 miles west of Indian Creek Road around 2:07 a.m.

Dunlap was also ticketed for possessing an open intoxicant. She was not injured, according to the sheriff’s department.
Potosi police, the Dickeyville–Paris Fire Department and Dickeyville EMS assisted at the scene.

•    A 21-year-old Hazel Green man was arrested for drunk driving after a crash on U.S. 151 near Kieler early Saturday.

A vehicle driven by Christopher Schlarmann was found in a pasture off Old Highway Road around 3:55 a.m. The sheriff’s department determined Schlarmann was driving south on Old Highway Road, missed the intersection with 151, and continued driving on a field road that led into a pasture, where Schlarmann’s vehicle got stuck.

Schlarmann’s vehicle was removed from the pasture by Guy’s Trucking of Kieler afterward because of the muddy conditions, according to the sheriff’s department.

•    A 27-year-old Cuba City man was arrested for second-offense drunk driving after it nearly hit two cars in Cuba City early Sunday morning.

Sheriff’s deputies saw a truck driving north on Wisconsin 80 with its lights off around 2:30 p.m. The truck nearly hit a parked car, nearly hit another car on Grant County H near Randolph Street, then crossed the center line, according to the sheriff’s department.

Joseph Eagan was cited for second-offense drunk driving and operating left of center.

•    A 75-year-old Platteville man was cited for drunk driving Wednesday night.

Leray W. Carl was stopped by Platteville police near 820 Mason St. around 7:05 p.m. after a caller reported a possible drunk driver.
