Platteville police arrested an inmate of the Lafayette County Jail after she failed to return to the jail from an appointment Thursday evening.

Police also arrested the driver of the car in which the inmate was traveling.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department put out an attempt-to-locate bulletin after Susan Adrienne Turner Redfearn, 42, 30972 County XX, Platteville, didn’t return to the jail, according to Platteville police. The sheriff’s department said Redfearn was heading toward the Platteville area.

Redfearn was a passenger in a car driven by Tracey M. Zsido, 41, Argyle, stopped at 95 W. Business 151 around 9:15 p.m.

Redfearn is serving nine months in jail after her two-year probation term for third-offense operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration was revoked March 11. Both her probation term and her jail term allowed work release for work, medical and mental health counseling, and alcohol and other drug counseling.

Zsido was arrested for bail jumping. She had pleaded no contest to four counts of violating a harassment restraining order and misdemeanor bail jumping May 22, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with work release privileges.

Zsido was also cited for operating after revocation. Redfearn was also cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

Redfearn also faces three additional sets of charges. Redfearn was charged in December 2011 with possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and second-offense operating with a restricted controlled substance. A status conference on those charges will be held in Iowa County Circuit Court in Dodgeville July 9.

A status conference also will be held in Iowa County July 9 on a charge of first-offense operating with a restricted controlled substance. Redfearn was also arrested on that charge in December 2011.

Redfearn also faces Walworth County charges for fourth-offense operating while intoxicated, operating after revocation, and driver possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Redfearn was arrested on those charges Feb. 22. A status conference on those charges is set for today.

Zsido faces an additional charge of operating while revoked, for which she was arrested Feb. 16. A status conference on that charge will be held in Iowa County Circuit Court July 9.
