A 22-year-old Platteville man was cited for trespassing and disorderly conduct Dec. 28.

Police were called to 339 N. Water St. around 11:15 p.m. after a caller said someone was knocking on her porch door trying to get into the house.

Police arrived to find Michael T. McCarty had gotten inside the house and was lying on the floor.

McCarty was taken by Platteville EMS to UW Hospital in Madison.
