DANIEL FISHER has pleaded not guilty to all five charges against him and could face up to $100,000 in fines and 40 years in prison. A status hearing is set for May 17.

On Friday, April 8 the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion and sexual assault that had taken place in the early morning hours of April 8. The incident took place at a residence on North Lake Road in the Town of Fayette.
Daniel E. Fisher, 17, of rural Blanchardville made his initial appearance in Lafayette County Circuit Court on April 12 where he was charged with burglary of a building or dwelling, second-degree sexual assault, false imprisonment, exposing genitals and strangulation and suffocation.
The court imposed a $50,000 cash bond along with several other bond conditions on Fisher, who remains in custody in the Lafayette County Jail.
The name of the victim will not be released.
