Suspect injured in Ontario church break-in

Vernon County Crime Stoppers and the Ontario Police Department are asking the public’s help in solving a break-in last week at a local church during which a suspect was injured.

Sometime during the evening of July 10, or before 9 a.m. July 11, a break-in occurred at the Grace Community Church in the Village of Ontario.

The suspect(s) will have a cut to their hand/arm or stomach area.

If anyone saw any person in or around the Grace Community Church during this time frame, please contact Vernon County Crimestoppers at 608-637-8477,  www.vernoncrimestoppers.com or on Facebook.  Tipsters can also text-a-tip by texting to 274637 (CRIMES) and typing the keyword of “VERN” plus the tip in the message box.

It is hoped that details of this case may cause someone to remember and report what they know about the person or persons involved.  Callers may be eligible for cash rewards up to $1,000.
