Platteville police arrested two people for drunk driving after, respectively, a traffic stop and a crash last week.

David Jackson-Bey Jr., 21, Platteville, was arrested after a traffic stop at Business 151 and Phillips Road Friday around 2:10 a.m.

Jackson-Bey was charged with drunk driving, operating wiht a prohibited alcohol concentration, and speeding.

Naomi A. Halverson, 29, Platteville, was arrested after her car hit a retaining wall at Heiser Ace Hardware, 180 E. Main St., Saturday around 5:15 a.m., according to police.

Halverson’s car went over a curb and struck a fire hydrant, according to police.

Neither Halverson nor her passenger were injured.
