MIFFLIN — Charges are pending after a fatal motorcycle crash in the Town of Mifflin Sunday night.

Tondelaya Bennett, 40, Montfort, was killed in the crash at the intersection of Iowa County XX and County X northeast of Montfort around 8:30 p.m., according to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department.

Bennett was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by Jesse Flogel, 36, Montfort, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

When deputies arrived at the crash scene, several motorcycles had left the scene, including Flogel’s, but Bennett was left there, according to the sheriff’s department.

Bennett was taken to UW Hospital in Madison, where she died, according to the sheriff’s department.

Flogel faces tentative charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, failure to render aid at a crash scene, and negligent use of a motor vehicle. He is being held in the Iowa County Jail.
