Fourteen UW–Platteville students were inducted into UWP’s Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology chapter.

The students include Nikki Boebel of Blue River; Melissa Carmody of Barneveld; Sydney Denstorff of Lafayette, Ind.; Kim Koelker of Cassville; Jamie Licht of Lake Geneva; Erica Longest of Colona, Ill.; Linzi Luck of Beaver Dam; Jessica Morton of Clear Lake, Iowa; Katie Nechodom of Little Chute; Korissa Prine of Darlington; Kayla Stadele of Richland Center; Brooke Staskal of Fennimore; Katrina Winohradsky of Pardeeville; and Shanna Yoose of Richland Center.

Psi Chi, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology, recognizes academic excellence in students while also nurturing their creative development, according to the society’s website.
