On Dec. 14 delegates from Platteville High School who attended Badger Boys State at Ripon College and Badger Girls State at UW–Oshkosh gave a report to the sponsors and contributors who paid their fees for the week-long government in action programs. Badger Boys State fees were paid by the Platteville Kiwanis and Optimist clubs and American Legion; Badger Girls State fees were paid by the Optimists, Rotary and Post 42 Auxiliary.
