Early in October, Elks Lodge 1460 of Platteville will start visiting southwestern Wisconsin public and parochial schools.

Ron and Kathy Gillen of Cuba City will be delivering A Student’s Dictionary for the fourth consecutive year starting Oct. 1.

The Elks club is looking for donations to pay for the 53 cases of books, at $42 per 24-book case. A spaghetti supper held during Hometown Festival Week raised $600, and another is planned for this fall.

“Any donation is fine, even if it’s just $1,” said Kathy Gillen.
