Boscobel’s new elementary school principal will soon be its newest resident.

Danelle Schmid, who stepped into her new role on July 1, is still house hunting with husband, Todd, son, Tucker, a future Bulldog fifth grader, and their Springer spaniel, Mauri.

Schmid is looking forward to the relocation, saying the community is in “one of the areas in the state we chose to come to if the opportunity opened up,” for them when they were planning for the future.
