Platteville High School is presenting Elton John and Tim Rice’s “Aida, The Timeless Love Story,” at the PHS Auditorium Thursday and Friday, Nov. 29–30 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m.

“Aida” is a contemporary musical of the timeless bond between an enslaved Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier. As forbidden love blossoms between them, the young lovers are forced to face death or part forever. With a pop–rock score that features ballads and choral numbers, “Aida” showcases exuberant dancing, staging, and singing.

Tickets are available in the Platteville High School Main Office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the door of each performance. Adult tickets are $8; student (K–12) and senior (60+) tickets are $6.

“Aida” is recommended for ages 8 and older. All seats are reserved.
