For 44 years Darlington residents have come together to support the DUWI fund, a group that year after year grants all donations to non-profit organizations in the Darlington area. This year is no different, and that means the time of the year has arrived when residents have the opportunity to give back.
    Those local non-profits benefiting from DUWI grants in 2014 were: Darlington Chamber/main Street—Tunes at Twilight, Darlington Community of Churches—food pantry, Darlington Police Department—canine unit, Lafayette County Historical Society, Rural Medical, Seniors United for Nutrition and Wisconsin Badger Camp.
    The DUWI Fund board of directors are Tom Daly, Jill Ringen, Theresa Monson, Tina Riechers, Angela Innerst and Vicki Whitford.
