Do you dabble in creative writing? Maybe you write essays, poems, short stories or articles and would like feedback on your work from other aspiring writers. If so, the Gays Mills Public Library would like to start a Creative Writer’s Group that would meet at the library on a regular basis.
This group would meet, while the library is closed in an informal setting. The members will decide how frequently they want to meet and what the format of the meetings will be like. A typical format could be setting time limits for reading and discussion of each individual’s contribution. Each writer would decide whether they have something to share with the group in advance of the meeting.
If you are interested in this idea, feel free to contact the library, 735-4331 or email motis@swls.org. The first meeting will be established after sufficient interest in the group has been determined.
