Halloween parade local tradition
Fennimore elementary kids enjoy showing off costumes
Halloween Parade 2
Fennimore kindergartners follow their teacher, Mrs. Brenda Bunn, Monday, as they make their way along the streets of the city to the Good Samaritan Center to visit residents and parade the halls there, before parading back to the school.

As has become tradition every Halloween in Fennimore, the students at the elementary school took the afternoon to parade to the Good Samaritan nursing home just a couple blocks west of the school. Grouped by classroom, students in all grades made the trip, showing off their costumes and smiles and even their scary voices as they waved and shouted “Happy Halloween” to onlookers. This year, the temperature was a bit chilly, but the skies were clear, and the students as well as staff seemed to be entertained by the adventure as always.
