Potosi Catfish Festival is this weekend

The annual Potosi Firemen’s Catfish Festival will be held at the Tennyson Athletic Field Friday and Saturday, and the Potosi Fire and Rescue Building Sunday.

CCR mobile DJs will entertain Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight, with fireworks Saturday at dusk.

A truck and tractor pull will be held Friday at 7 p.m., a local tractor pull will be held Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and a kids’ tractor pull will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. RC racing will be held Saturday from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Other events include a bean bag tournament Saturday at 10 a.m., a euchre tournament Saturday at 2 p.m. Kids can play Saturday and Sunday.

The annual Catfish Festival parade will be in downtown Potosi Sunday at 10 a.m., with the crowning of the Little Miss Catfish Queen at noon. In additional to the catfish dinner Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Davies Memorial United Church of Christ will hold a bake sale Sunday at 9 a.m.
