The 51st annual Vernon County American Legion Youth Government Day, originally set for Nov. 4, has been rescheduled for Dec. 4 due to a scheduling conflict.

High school students from Hillsboro, Westby, Brookwood, and Viroqua will attend. Judge Michael Rosborough will assist the Vernon County Legion. Students will view circuit court proceedings starting at 9 a.m., with lunch at the Viroqua Legion at 11:30 a.m.

Guest speakers at the luncheon this year include Vernon County Sheriff John Spears and Rosborough. These county officials will talk briefly about their duties.
