2015 United Way of Platteville campaign under way; every donation helps
2015 Dairy Days Photo
United Way of Platteville Board members, agency representatives, and volunteers kicked off the 2015 campaign in the Dairy Days Parade Sept. 12. Pictured holding the banner are board members Dan Jones, Fern Nall, Sheri Engelke and granddaughter Zoe, Julie Pluemer, and Erin Milestone.

The 2015 United Way of Platteville campaign is under way, with the campaign goal $83,000.

United Way anticipates this to be another challenging year to support non-profit organizations that are facing fewer resources and continuing budget cuts. As of this week about $20,000 has been raised.

Brochures have been mailed to all Platteville residents and businesses. Platteville residents are asked to review the 12 agencies and use the enclosed envelope for donations. United Way of Platteville thanks everyone who has already donated.

Even the smallest support will help United Way reach its goal for this worthy cause.

Donations can be sent to United Way of Platteville, P.O. Box 227, Platteville, WI  53818. Call Brenda Denn, 348-2727, for more brochures or to have a presentation about United Way for your business.
