Warehouse Conservancy welcomes new board member
6-9 Lampert
Don Lampert

The A.D. German Warehouse Conservancy ADGWC announces that Don Lampert of Gays Mills has joined the organization as a board member.

Lampert has a broad and varied background in the arts and historical preservation. His college training was in technical theatre and scenery painting which led him to start his decorative painting business in 1984. He has also operated a Bed and Breakfast in Viroqua and was a member of the Main Street Program there. He initiated the effort to restore the Temple Theatre in Viroqua and has restored a number of historic homes. One of his projects was featured on the Home and Garden Network’s “If Walls Could Talk.” Additional preservation experience involved working with the Landmarks Preservation Council of Illinois in Chicago, where he was successful in getting five National Register of Historic Places applications accepted for major theatres.

His enthusiasm and preservation experience will be a welcome addition in the restoration of the A.D. German Warehouse.
