Mayhem attendance exceeds expectations

Motorsports Mayhem 2016 organizers predicted that the event would have its largest-ever turn-out of competitors and spectators. The prediction was based on “buzz” generated by the number of phone calls and e-mails, as well as by social media and website traffic. The prediction was proven correct when the event ran out of 6,500 wristbands, with at least 500 additional people admitted at the gates. Event co-coordinator Jason Schultz says that he and his fellow coordinators aimed to have a crowd larger than the population of the city of Richland Center and they succeeded.
