Prairie du Sac, Wis. – Nov. 30, 2015 – Emma Rielly, daughter of Mark and Carmen Rielly of Darlington, recently had the privilege to serve as the Wisconsin Jr. Captain for the University of Wisconsin Badgers football game on Oct. 31 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis.
    Rielly spent pre-game on the sidelines to watch team warm-ups and the University of Wisconsin Band perform before joining the Wisconsin Badgers football captains at mid-field for the opening coin toss. She was also featured on the Camp Randall video board during the game.
    Rielly is one of seven kids chosen to be a Wisconsin Jr. Captain for the UW Badgers home football games during the 2015 season. The Wisconsin Jr. Captain program is sponsored by Badgerland Financial, a proud sponsor of University of Wisconsin Athletics.
    “One reason I would love to be Jr. Captain is because I am a huge Alex Erickson fan. Another even more important reason I hope to be a Jr. Captain is because it would be a perfect family bonding opportunity. My family of five lives on a 220 cow dairy farm, which means we are very busy,” noted Rielly in her winning application. “I would love to give back to my family for all they do for me, like helping me with my fair calf. Getting ready for and showing at the Lafayette County Fair is a lot of work but is also the best part of summer.”
