Stretch and strength class planned

Another stretch and strength exercise class will be held starting Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the old community building on Main Street in Gays Mills. This class is for people of all ages and will consist of a variety of exercises using elastic tubing, small balls, body weight and aerobics to build muscle strength, range of motion and cardiovascular endurance.

The six-week class will be held Wednesday morning starting at 10:30 a.m. The cost is $15 for the six classes (or $5 drop-in rate per class) plus $3 or $4 for building rental (depending on number of participants). Those participating must sign a consent form before starting the class.

Anyone who has participated in the class before needs only to send a $15 check to VMH Wellness Center, Attention: Jen Bjorklund, 507 South Main Street, Viroqua, WI 54665 or call her at 637-4290 for more information. The building rental fee will be paid separately. Ten paid registrations must be received by Jan. 2 in order to hold the class.
