Bernard McCormick, 89, of Soldiers Grove passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Vernon Memorial Hospital, following his battle with dementia and kidney failure.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, at the church from 4 to 7 p.m., and again at the church on Saturday for two hours prior to the service. Father Zachary Beya and Monsignor Michael Gorman will officiate. Burial will be held at St. Philip’s Cemetery, with military honors by the William A. Schoville Post 220 of The American Legion.
