Charles ‘Charlie’ G. Ray, 62, of Richland Center died suddenly on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at home due to a tractor accident.  

He was born on September 22, 1955, son of Robert and Mary Joan (Harris) Ray in Richland Center. He married Jonna Honer on April 13, 1985, at Ash Creek United Methodist Church. Charlie worked for 44 years at Rockwell Automation-Allen Bradley in Richland Center.

Survivors include his wife Jonna Ray; four children, Juli (Brad) Thompson, Linda Ray, Jacque (Justin) Strook, and Lorin Ray; four grandchildren, Hannah Christian, Landon and Kerrick Thompson, and Jaxon Strook; three sisters, Barb (Jim) Popham, Sandi (Jerry) Ketchmark, and Diane Parker; mother-in-law, Audrey Honer; four brothers-in-law, Gary Honer, Phil Honer, Tim (Karen) Honer, and James (Kari) Honer, three sisters-in-law, Denise (Kevin) Lins, Alice (Brad) Brown, and Mary Honer; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ricky Ray; father-in-law, John Honer; and brother-in-law, Keith Parker.

A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church on Monday, July 2, with Monsignor Roger Schekel officiating. Burial was held in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends called on Sunday, July 1, at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center and also on Monday at church until the time of services.
