Clayton Watkins age 93 of Argyle, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe.  He was born Sept. 25, 1921 in Argyle the son of Clarence and Clara (Nelson) Watkins. 

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Argyle Lutheran Church (100 East Street, Argyle) with Rev. Rick Fry officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery where Military Graveside Rites were accorded by the Argyle American Legion Post #251. A visitation was held Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
