Dale Seely

Dale W. Seely, 77, Black River Falls, died suddenly on July 7, 2015, after a brief hospitalization and discovery of advanced stages of cancer.

He was born on October 15, 1937 on a small dairy farm outside of Wauzeka, and attended Porter School, the one-room grade school on the edge of their farm.

Services were held for Dale at the United Methodist Church on 100 N. 4th Street in Black River Falls, on Thursday, July 16.

An informal remembrance began at 10 am, with a service at 11, and a luncheon at the church immediately followed.

There will also be a memorial event scheduled later (tentatively the afternoon of August 15) in Wauzeka, before Dale’s ashes are interred in the Wauzeka Cemetery overlooking the Wisconsin River bottoms.

Dale Seely's whole obituary can be found in the July 16, 2015 issue of the Boscobel Dial.
