Our favorite truck driver said goodbye to his family and left for his final trip to eternal peace.

Funeral services were at 4 p.m., Monday, July 13, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Gus Barnes officiated. People who joined to celebrate Dan’s life, dressed casually and wore their favorite trucker hat. Chapel military rites were accorded. Burial will be at the Belmont Cemetery at a later date. Visitation was from 2 p.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Daniel J.
