Edward Carroll Strand, 84, long-time resident of Lynxville, and most recently of Boscobel, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, with his family by his side at the Prarie du Chien Memorial Creek, rural Ferryville.

He was born on August 22, 1929, to Edward and Clara (Gustason) Strand. He grew up on the Strand Farm in Sugar Creek, rural Ferryville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien. Burial followed in Dickison Ridge Cemetery, Lynxville.
