Gary John “Sparrow” Bockhop, 69, of Belmont, passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, at University Hospital in Madison.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Pastor Peter Berg will officiate.  Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory or from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Gary J. “Sparrow” Bockhop Memorial Fund.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
