Gerald Eric Porter, 62, of Spring Green died on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  

Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 26, at the Lone Rock Community Congregational Church, with Pastor Craig Peach officiating with burial following in the Button Cemetery. A visitation was held at the Lone Rock Community Congregational Church on Saturday, June 25, with a private family prayer service held. A visitation was also held on Sunday until the time of the service. The family suggests that memorials in Jerry’s name be directed to the Lone Rock Community Congregational Church.
