Gerard E. Wedig, 65, of Belmont, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on Monday, May 10.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Belmont. Father Michael Tarigopula officiated. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery, Belmont. Visitation was from 4–7 p.m. on Friday, May 14 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, and from 9 a.m. until the time of the mass on Saturday at the church.
