Hans Kohles died suddenly of cardiac arrest at his home in Columbus, Ohio on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was 51 years old.

Among his survivors are his mother and step-father, Lois and Buck Fields of Boscobel and his sister, Cindy Kohles and brother-in-law Ron Wagner of Gays Mills.
