Harriet C. Russell, 85, Fennimore, moved from this earth to Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday morning, Sept. 18, 2014.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1929 in Boscobel, to Luther and Hilda (Everson) Swenson, farmed the family farm in Homer.

She graduated from Boscobel High School.  Harriet and Paul Russell were married in Lancaster on March 30, 1954.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 27, 2014 at the Trinity Evangelical Free Church in Fennimore with burial of cremains to follow in the Homer Cemetery in Hickory Grove Twsp., Grant Co. A luncheon will be held at the church following burial.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday morning.

The family request no flowers and memorials should be made to the Fennimore Rescue Squad and Gideon’s International.
